Boarding houses, being smaller communities, emphasize the importance of adhering to specific rules and guidelines that promote the collective well-being. While these rules are not overly strict, the boarding environment encourages students to learn from occasional mistakes and wrong decisions in a safe and supportive setting. New boarding students can feel at ease knowing that a dedicated day pupil in their year level will serve as their mentor on their first day. To foster a sense of community and prevent the formation of cliques, mealtime seating arrangements are strategically planned to mix students of different ages, nationalities, and houses.
